Hydrochloric Acid 20LT

Hydrochloric Acid 32% (acid etch) is commonly used for lowering pH and total alkalinity in swimming pools. It can also be used for boiler scale removal, acid pickling to remove surface rusts, brick cleaning and cleaning concrete mixers.

During the concrete process however, the acid is broken down 1:10 and used as an etch on new concrete. In doing so, the acid etching helps to open the concrete pours by removing the dusty concrete film allowing it to breath. It then becomes porous enough to coat with your preferred concrete sealer for a long lasting decorative finish.
