Low density polyethylene closed cell foam
Thermotec Backing Rod is a closed cell polyethylene foam compatible with all leading sealants - Soudal Multibond SMX25, SMX35 and SMX50
The round foam tube allows sealant to form the correct profile in order to provide optimum movement and minimise the amount required.
The closed cell structure ensures no moisture absorbed. It is suitable for horizontal and vertical joints, sealing of wall joints, concrete cracks and sealing windows.
